This issue is further compounded by the fact that IT Engineers who switched from ministerial cadre through departmental selection are now disadvantaged compared to their former ministerial counterparts, who would have received promotions to level-8 had they remained in their original cadre. The memorandum also points out inconsistencies in the implementation of pay level upgradation and cadre restructuring for IT Engineers compared to other departments. The IRTSA requests immediate corrective action to address these anomalies and ensure equitable treatment for IT Engineers.

Yeh issue aur bhi zyada complex ho gaya hai kyunki woh IT Engineers jo departmental selection ke through ministerial cadre se IT cadre mein aaye hain, unko ab apne former ministerial counterparts se disadvantage ho raha hai, jinko level-8 mein promotion milta agar woh apne original cadre mein rahe hote.
