attendance in Parliament from this constituency. Despite the early completion of vote counting on Tuesday evening, official results were not announced until late into the night. According to the Election Commission's website, Kaushlendra Kumar received 553,628 votes, while his closest rival, Dr. Sandeep Saurabh from the CPI(ML), received 386,656 votes. The JD(U) held a lead from the first round of counting, though the CPI(ML) temporarily took the lead in the Islamur assembly segment from the first to third rounds. Notably, the CPI(ML) even surpassed the JD(U) in the second round in the Harnaut assembly segment, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's home constituency. However, the JD(U) consistently regained the lead after the fourth round. The JD(U) maintained a narrow lead in the Hilsa assembly segment, while the Nalanda assembly segment contributed the most votes to the JD(U)'s victory.

Mangalwar ki sham aath baje tak vote gini ja chuki thi, lekin official result raat der tak nahi aaya. Election Commission ki website pe aayi report ke mutabik, Kaushlendra Kumar ko saaton vidhansabha kshetron mein 5,53,628 vote mile. Unke dushmano mein se Dr. Sandeep Saurabh, CPI(ML) se, ko 3,86,656 vote mile. JD(U) pehle round se hi aage tha, lekin CPI(ML) ne Islamur vidhansabha mein pehle se teesre round tak aage reh kar hairaani di. Harnaut vidhansabha, CM Nitish Kumar ka ghar, mein bhi CPI(ML) ne doosre round mein JD(U) se zyada vote liye. Fir bhi JD(U) ne chautha round ke baad aage reh kar jeet haasil ki. Hilsa vidhansabha mein JD(U) ki bahut kam voteon se jeet hui, aur Nalanda vidhansabha se JD(U) ko sabse zyada vote mile.
