July 2024 to approve the speed increase. To facilitate this upgrade, significant infrastructure improvements have been completed, including track strengthening, signal upgrades, and bridge repairs. The increased speed is expected to result in significant time savings for passengers on popular trains like the Rajdhani Express, Shatabdi Express, and Garib Rath Express.
