Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express. Additionally, the PM will inaugurate the foundation laying ceremony for a Vande Bharat maintenance depot at Basin Bridge and dedicate the recently completed doubling work on the Aralvaimozhi-Nagercoil and Melapalayam-Tirunelveli lines. Southern Railway has announced special bi-weekly trains between Tambaram and Ramanathapuram to accommodate the expected increase in passenger traffic. The Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Vande Bharat Express service has been upgraded from weekly to daily operations.
