The inspection revealed several security loopholes, including a malfunctioning luggage scanner near the UTS counter that has been out of order for seven months, and the lack of CCTV cameras in two of the three parking areas. While the station has some CCTV cameras and firefighting equipment, the overall security measures are deemed inadequate. The GRP in-charge, Dharamvir Singh, confirmed that continuous checks are being conducted at Ambala Cantt station following the threat in Chandigarh.

Inspection se kuchh security loopholes bhi samne aaye, jaise ki UTS counter ke paas laga luggage scanner jo ki 7 mahine se kharab pada hai, aur 3 parking areas mein se 2 mein CCTV cameras nahi hain. Station mein kuchh CCTV cameras aur firefighting equipment hai, lekin overall security measures kaafi nahi hain. GRP in-charge, Dharamvir Singh ne confirm kiya ki Chandigarh ke threat ke baad Ambala Cantt station pe continuous check chal rahe hain.
