Central Railway recorded 11,434 cases of misuse between April 2023 and June 2024, with 9657 people prosecuted and Rs.63.21 lakhs collected in penalties. The misuse of the alarm chain disrupts train schedules, inconveniencing all passengers. Passengers are encouraged to plan their journeys responsibly, arrive early, and use alternative methods for non-emergency situations, like contacting the train staff or fellow passengers. The alarm chain should only be used in genuine emergencies, such as fire incidents, health emergencies, criminal activities, or accidents during boarding or alighting.

April 2023 aur June 2024 ke beech Central Railway ne 11,434 misuse ke case register kiye, jisme 9657 logon par case chalaye gaye aur unse Rs.63.21 lakh penalty vasooli gayi. Alarm chain ka galat istemaal train schedule ko disturb karta hai, jisse saare yaatrion ko pareshani hoti hai. Yaatriyon se apni journey ki planning sahi tarike se karne, time pe pahunchne aur non-emergency situations ke liye alternative methods use karne ka request kiya gaya hai, jaise ki train staff ya saath ke yaatriyon se baat karna. Alarm chain ka use sirf asli emergency mein karna chahiye, jaise aag lagna, health emergency, criminal activity ya train mein chadhne ya utarne ke waqt accident.
