While the lower deck has been ready for 1.5 years, the ramps at Silk Board junction were completed recently, partially easing traffic flow. The full flyover, including the upper deck and the remaining ramps, is expected to be operational in a year. The double-decker flyover will facilitate travel between South Bengaluru and key IT hubs, including Whitefield and Electronics City, and will also include the city's tallest Metro station at the Jayadeva hospital junction, which will enable interchange between the Yellow and Pink lines.
