trains, similar to the practice in Bengaluru where the South Western Railway has coupled two MEMU trains into a 16-coach train. A senior Southern Railway official confirmed that new trains are being introduced with 12 coaches and that the eight-coach trains will be replaced in a phased manner.

trains mein convert kiya jaaye, jaise Bengaluru mein South Western Railway mein do MEMU trains ko combine karke 16 coaches wali train banai gayi hai. Southern Railway ke ek senior official ne confirm kiya hai ki 12 coaches wali new trains aa rahi hain aur aath coaches wali trains ko gradually replace kiya jaayega.
