Modernization efforts include the construction of 1,000 Amrit Stations, the introduction of 51 Vande Bharat Express trains, and the commissioning of 77 Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals. Passenger experience has been enhanced through the construction of 2,000 Foot Over Bridges, the provision of Wi-Fi at 6,100 railway stations, and the renewal of over 40,000 track kilometers.
