The Railway Board has approved the rerouting and extension of Train No. 12691/12692, a weekly super-fast express that runs between Dr. MGR Chennai Central and Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam, to Shivamogga Town. Similarly, from July 13th, 2024 (Saturday), Train No. 12692 will originate from Shivamogga Town and run via Birur, Arsikere, and SMVT Bengaluru, also skipping Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam, KSR Bengaluru Jn, and Bengaluru Cantonment. The service between Bengaluru Cantonment and Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam for both trains is cancelled.

Isi tarah se, 13 July, 2024 (Saturday) se Train No. 12692 Shivamogga Town se originate hogi aur Birur, Arsikere aur SMVT Bengaluru se hoti hue jaayegi, aur Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam, KSR Bengaluru Jn aur Bengaluru Cantonment pe bhi rukne se skip karegi. Dono trains ke liye Bengaluru Cantonment aur Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam ke beech ka service cancel kar diya gaya hai.
