KRCL ke beech baant diya gaya hai, se operational issues aa rahe hain, khaas karke Mangaluru mein. Unhone yeh bhi kaha ki KRCL mein ticket ka daam dusre railway divisions ke muqabale zyada hai. Iske saath hi, unhone KRCL pe track doubling, additional bogies, aur new LHB train coaches ke liye funding ki kami ki baat bhi kahi hai. Unhone Mangaluru station ke Palakkad division of the Southern Railway pe nirbhar hone ki baat bhi kahi hai aur is division ko Mangaluru shift karne ki maang ki hai, kyonki yeh region freight revenue mein kaafi bada contribution deta hai.
