runs have already been conducted on the Bairabi-Hortoki section. Services to Mualkhang station are expected to start soon, followed by the entire line to Sairang near Aizawl by July 2025. This project, sanctioned in 2008-09 and costing Rs 8,213.72 crore, is expected to boost Mizoram's economy and tourism by reducing travel time and transportation costs from Assam.

Mualkhang station tak services jaldi hi shuru hone wali hain, aur July 2025 tak Aizawl ke paas Sairang tak puri line chalu ho jayegi. 2008-09 mein sanctioned, yeh project Rs 8,213.72 crore ka hai aur isse Mizoram ki economy aur tourism ko boost milne ki umeed hai, kyunki Assam se travel time aur transportation cost kam ho jayega.
