between Assam's Barak Valley and West Bengal via Bangladesh. Sarma praised the Union Budget 2024 allocation for rail connectivity in Assam. The meeting also included discussions on the electrification of railway tracks in Northeast India, the redevelopment of 60 N.F. Railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Stations Scheme, and the status of ongoing infrastructure projects in Assam. Sarma met with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to discuss the progress of these projects, including the Jorhat – Dibrugarh section of the National Highway and the Kaziranga Elevated Corridor. Finally, Sarma met with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to discuss support for Assam under the PM-USHA scheme and measures to strengthen teacher training and technical education in the state.

West Bengal ke beech Bangladesh se train connectivity hone ki possibility explore karne pe bhi baat ki. Sarma ne Union Budget 2024 mein Assam ke rail connectivity ke liye allocation praise kiya. Meeting mein Northeast India mein railway tracks electrify karne, Amrit Bharat Stations Scheme ke neeche 60 N.F. Railway stations ko redevelop karne aur Assam mein chal rahe infrastructure projects ki status pe bhi baat hui. Sarma ne Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari se mila kar in projects ki progress pe baat ki, jisme National Highway ka Jorhat – Dibrugarh section aur Kaziranga Elevated Corridor bhi shamil hain.
