The meeting also included discussions on the electrification of railway tracks in Northeast India, the redevelopment of 60 N.F. Railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Stations Scheme, and the status of ongoing infrastructure projects in Assam. Sarma met with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to discuss the progress of these projects, including the Jorhat – Dibrugarh section of the National Highway and the Kaziranga Elevated Corridor. Finally, Sarma met with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to discuss support for Assam under the PM-USHA scheme and measures to strengthen teacher training and technical education in the state.
