along with the expansion of existing platforms 5 and 6, will accommodate 24-coach trains like Rajdhani and Shatabdi. The construction, expected to be completed within 12 months, will increase the total number of platforms to 7 by April-May 2025. This will significantly improve train operations and passenger convenience by eliminating the need for trains to wait in queues or be held at suburban stations due to platform unavailability. The increased platform space will also reduce the risk of accidents, especially considering the electrification and increased speed of trains.

mein platforms ki kami ko point out kiya tha. New platforms aur existing platforms 5 aur 6 ka expansion 24-coach wali trains jaise Rajdhani aur Shatabdi ko accommodate karega. Construction 12 months mein complete hone ke baad April-May 2025 tak total platforms 7 ho jaayenge. Isse trains ka operation aur passenger convenience bahut improve hoga aur trains ko queues mein wait karne ya platform unavailability ki wajah se suburban stations pe rokne ki zarurat nahi hogi. Platform space badhne se accident ka risk bhi kam hoga, khaas kar electrification aur trains ki speed badhne ke baad.
