The Howrah–New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express, Sabroom–Sealdah Kanchenjungha Express, Haldibari–Kolkata Intercity Express, Kamakhya–Puri Express, Delhi–Alipurduar Junction Mahananda Express, and Radhikapur–Katihar–Radhikapur Passenger Special were diverted. The New Jalpaiguri–Howrah Vande Bharat Express departed at 5 PM instead of 3 PM. The New Jalpaiguri–Malda Town Intercity Express, Siliguri Junction–Balurghat Intercity Express, Siliguri Junction–Malda Court DEMU, and Malda Court–Siliguri Junction DEMU were short-terminated. Additionally, the Sealdah–Sabroom Kanchenjungha Express, Howrah Junction–Radhikapur Kulik Express, and Sealdah–Jagiroad AC Special were regulated at Malda Town. Railway authorities are working to restore normal operations.
