Despite being a major revenue generator for the Indian Railways, Dhanbad lacks direct train connections to major cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, and Puri, highlighting the ongoing struggle for basic amenities in the region.

raat 12:40 pe Dhanbad pahunchegi. Return train 18120, har Shanivar shaam 7:30 pe Jaynagar se chalegi aur Dhanbad subah 5:55 pe pahunchegi. Lekin is train ka Bokaro Steel aur Kumardhubi jaise important stations pe stop nahi hai. Dhanbad toh paise se aabad hai, aur railway ka number one kamau puth hai, par usko basic amenities nahi mil rahi hai. Dhanbad se Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune aur Puri jaise bada cities ke liye direct train nahi hai, aur yeh region ki problems ko dikhata hai.
