This service is expected to benefit travelers from Sri Ganganagar, Kesrisinghpur, Gajsinghpur, Raisinhnagar, Jaitsar, Suratgarh Junction, Rajiasar, Arjunasar, Mahajan, Loonkaransar, Dhirera, Lalgarh, Kolayat, and Faloodi. The Suratgarh Rail Vikas Sangharsh Samiti and the district joint rail struggle committee had demanded a direct train service from Sri Ganganagar to Ramdevra via Suratgarh, leading to a protest on August 9th at the railway station, where a memorandum was submitted to the railway GM and DRM. Advocate Lalit Kishore Sharma, a member of the struggle committee, confirmed the approval of the train service, highlighting that while it was previously run twice as a mela special, its timings were not optimal.
