Medta-Ras line is estimated at 947 crores. The project is expected to be completed within three years for the Medta-Pushkar line and four years for the Medta-Ras line. The project will also include the construction of new stations at Naand, Kodh, Riyan, Bhaisadakalan on the Medta-Pushkar line and Katyasni, Dhaneria, Samdolav, Jasnagar, and Lambiya on the Medta-Ras line. Once complete, these lines will provide direct train connections between Sri Ganganagar, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Ajmer, and Udaipur, making travel more convenient for passengers. An additional 75 crores and 90 crores rupees have been allocated for the construction of high-speed tracks in the district.
