This extension is considered crucial due to the high footfall on the stretch and its connection to key areas like Market Yard, Bibvewadi, Dhankawdi, Balajinagar, Bharati Vidyapeeth, and Katraj suburbs. The extension will also improve connectivity via the District Court interchange station. The projected daily ridership on the line is expected to reach 1.97 lakh passengers by 2057.

Yeh extension kaafi important hai kyunki is stretch pe bahut footfall hai aur yeh key areas jaise Market Yard, Bibvewadi, Dhankawdi, Balajinagar, Bharati Vidyapeeth, aur Katraj suburbs se connect karta hai.
