This decision will directly benefit approximately 2.5 lakh people living in these panchayats. The Deputy Commissioner (DC) has ordered the immediate commencement of development works. The decision follows protests by the Mukhia Sangh and the local Pradhan, who had accused the Block Development Officer (BDO) of double standards. Earlier, the Railway Engineering Department had objected to the development work in the area, but the former BDO had allowed it to continue due to similar works funded by MP and MLA funds. The current BDO had stopped the work following a letter from the Railway Engineering Department.
