Due to heavy rainfall, train services were disrupted on the Eastern Railway. The flooding in Kolkata station area led to the suspension of services between Dum Dum Junction and Bibidibagh stations. The waterlogging also affected long-distance trains as the tracks in Kolkata station were submerged.
