India have been classified under NSG-1. Additionally, 57 other major stations in Rajasthan have also been upgraded, resulting in expanded passenger facilities. This reclassification, effective from the financial year 2024-25, will lead to improved facilities and development projects at stations across the North Western Railway, including food plazas, pre-paid taxi services, and executive lounges at NSG-2 stations like Bikaner and Udaipur. Smaller stations will see the addition of amenities like electronic train indicator boards, water vending machines, and bottle crushers.
