banayi gayi, yeh 190 km ki line, Yavatmal aur Murtijapur ko jodti hai, aur pehle yeh Yavatmal se Mumbai tak kapta le jaati thi, jo ki Manchester ko export kiya jaata tha. 1952 mein nationalized hone ke baad bhi, yeh line British ownership mein hi hai, jiske liye India har saal 1 crore rupees ki fee deta hai. Yeh line, ab sirf ek tourist train ko daily operate karti hai, yeh local logon ke liye bahut jaruri hai, kyunki gaonon ke beech mein road se travel karna bahut mehnga hai. Indian government ne narrow gauge line ko broad gauge mein convert karne ke liye 1,500 crore rupees approve kiye hain, lekin ownership British company ke paas hi rahega.
