The special ticket checking drive will be conducted in two phases: October 1st to 15th and October 25th to November 10th, 2024, to manage crowds and prevent unauthorized travel during the festive season. To further address overcrowding, dedicated ticket checking teams have been deployed on trains known for overcrowding. These teams have prevented 2,54,795 unreserved passengers from boarding reserved compartments between June 14th and September 30th, 2024, ensuring a more comfortable journey for ticketed passengers. The Central Railway has also deployed quick response teams at key stations to manage crowds and ensure smooth boarding during peak travel periods.
