Project ki total cost Rs 8739 crore hai. UPMRC ke Director Finance Sheel Kumar Mittal ne kaha ki wo EIB ke cooperation aur support ke liye khush hain aur unko ummeed hai ki yeh partnership Uttar Pradesh me world-class urban transportation system provide karne me bahut madad karega. UPMRC ke MD Sushil Kumar ne kaha ki March 2024 me inaugurate hua metro project ab successfully operational hai aur UPMRC ki team project ke remaining section ko time pe complete karne ke liye fully committed hai. Currently, project pe first corridor ka remaining section par kaam ho raha hai. 6-km long priority stretch, Taj East Gate se Mankameshwar Metro Station tak, pe metro chal raha hai.
