Due to the lack of repair facilities for Vande Bharat trains in Ayodhya, it has been decided that the train will depart from Anand Vihar in the morning and arrive in Ayodhya in the afternoon. The Railway Board is currently working on the timetable for the Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express. The operational date will be announced soon. Additionally, the Railway Board had earlier proposed converting the New Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi Express to a Vande Bharat Express. The Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express is being seen as a new alternative to the Shatabdi Express, which is facing issues with its old coaches and frequent complaints, including malfunctioning gates.
