CR officials ne claim kiya hai ki unhone corrective measures liye hain, lekin woh yeh bhi maante hain ki system heavy rainfall se vulnerable hai, jo 100 mm per hour se zyada ho. CR ko WR se compare karna mushkil hai, kyunki unki topographies aur historical drainage patterns alag hain, CR low-lying areas aur slums ki wajah se challenges ka samna kar raha hai.
