Despite multiple requests, the Daund city lacks suburban status, resulting in limited local train frequency (only six DEMU trips each way) between Pune and Daund, while Pune-Lonavala enjoys forty local trips. Passengers are demanding the introduction of suburban local services on this route, similar to Lonavala, to improve travel convenience.

Par, Pune-Daund railway passengers abhi bhi Pune aur Daund ke beech suburban local services start hone ka intezaar kar rahe hain. Bahut sari requests ke baad bhi, Daund city ko suburban status nahi mila, jiski wajah se Pune aur Daund ke beech local train ki frequency bahut kam hai (har taraf sirf 6 DEMU trips). Pune-Lonavala ke beech 40 local trips hoti hain. Passengers Pune-Daund ke beech bhi Lonavala jaise suburban local services start karne ki demand kar rahe hain, taaki travel easy ho jaaye.
