The test run was conducted on Tuesday night from 10 pm to 6 am, with the section under test closed to other traffic. The metro team plans to begin commercial operations on the Super Corridor's Priority Corridor in December. Before that, the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) will conduct a separate inspection and give approval. The team is expected to arrive in Indore soon. The decision to start operations on the Priority Corridor first is because it is easier to obtain permissions for the shorter section, as compared to waiting for the entire route to be completed.
