Midnight rains in Chennai disrupt train services, delay 15 flights

Chennai and its suburbs experienced heavy rainfall overnight, causing delays to both train and flight services. The Chennai airport saw approximately 15 flight delays on Tuesday. Nadu, including Vellore, Ranipet, Krishnagiri, and Madurai, also received rainfall during the night. The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has issued a yellow alert for thunder and lightning in parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal until June 21st, with rain expected in various areas until June 22nd.
