The doubling and electrification of the Varanasi-Madho Singh-Prayagraj rail line have been completed. The maximum speed of trains on the route will be 150-160 kmph. Officials of the Varanasi Division of North Eastern Railway said that the doubling and electrification will not require a change in train traction.

Varanasi-Prayagraj rail line ka 120.20 km ka doubling ka kaam next month ke end tak complete ho jaayega. Kaam ko tez karne ke liye 100 crore rupees ka budget release kiya gaya hai. Bas Jhusi mein Ganga par railway bridge par kaam baaki hai. Saare dusre kaam complete ho chuke hain....

Varanasi-Madho Singh-Prayagraj rail line ka doubling aur electrification bhi complete ho chuka hai. Route par trains ki maximum speed 150-160 kmph tak hogi. North Eastern Railway, Varanasi Division ke officials ne bataya ki doubling aur electrification se trains ka traction change nahin karna padega.
