Malda Town - Patna Vande Bharat is not yet introduced in its route

The following VB was in news from June 2023 but now it's almost a year and hopes for introduction of this train is almost lost.

And

For the irony, existing trains like Farrakka express is also facing continuous extensions thus disregarding the Malda division and Eastern Railway.

Diversion of 20501/02 Agartala Rajdhani and introduction of few new trains from Godda/Dumka were only some good news for this section in this year apart from that nothing better happened. Passengers from this route are still waiting for a new VB to run on this route.

PROBLEMS ON THIS ROUTE:

• MPS Of Kiul-Malda route is still stucked at 110kmph. Tracks need to be upgraded for 130kmph.

• Unawareness of local people for protecting their beloved trains.

• MLDT division railway officials are not concerned for development on this route.
