Arrival and Departure from Ashokapuram (AP) railway station in Mysuru.

The new train has RSA with the new Mysuru (MYS) Talguppa (TLGP) UR Express (Train No: 16221/16222)

The train came in to Ashokapuram, bang on time, arriving at 3:56 PM and Departing at 3:57 PM

The train rake consisted of 12 coaches, 2 SLR and 10 UR coaches (2S)

Date: 26th July 2022
Time: 3:57 PM and 4:28 PM

(CMNR) -- Mysuru (MYS) Passenger

Arrival and Departure from Ashokapuram (AP) Railway station, Mysuru, Karnataka (SWR)

Date of Spotting: 19th July 2022
Spotting Time: 6:48 PM to 6:58 PM
Cameras: Sony Handycam HDR-CX220E 📹 for video and Vivo T1 5G 📱for photos

The train had a good halt time at Ashokapuram station for around 10 mins, awaiting signal from Mysuru JN (MYS) side 😅😃. Henceforth the ALP got down, doing some preliminary checks before Departure.

#40247 is the 2nd Dual cab EMD of KJM to get Navy Blue scheme, after #40226 WDP-4D

Also, will be sharing the Humming sounds of the EMD while standing at Ashokapuram station.

Actually Ashokapuram's PF-1 loop line track (which also branches further towards Mysuru's Railway Central Workshop) is extended around 300m after the track switches, towards Chamarajanagar (CMNR) side...meant mainly for the works and duties of railway sleepers. Once I had met the contractor of this depot, he said that it's for the supply of new sleepers and bringing back of old ones, working in railway lines like Mysuru (MYS) - Hassan (HAS) and so on.

(18.02.2022) spotted KJM WDP-4 #20067 EMD locomotive standing idle at PF-2 line of Ashokapuram (AP) Railway station in Mysuru. Incharge of Departmental Rakes. The loco did it's duty and was waiting to get clearance from Mysuru side, to depart back towards Mysuru (MYS). The loco is newly painted with KJM Bleed blue scheme... Also posting an audio on it's idling sound.. Please Enjoy !!
