Jhalrapatan- Famous for surya temple and chandrabhaga river(tributary of chambal) also one and only fort of jhalawar state(jhalawar rajya) is here where another one of the oldest temple is situated..

so finally Ramganj mandi-Jhalrapatan section(33km) of Ramganj mandi-Bhopal rail line is completed and got clearance by CRS officer that 7 km between jhalawar city-Jhalrapatan was too important because that section is built between pahadis and ghat so it was difficult to lay rail line between forests and mangalnath ki doongri
