The goods train, carrying fertilizer from Samastipur to Rosra, was supposed to stop at platform 1 at Bhagwanpur Desua station but proceeded beyond, breaking through a barrier and derailing. The train driver, despite receiving a signal to stop at platform 1 due to the approaching Rajdhani Express, continued driving, leading to the derailment. Railway operations on the line were disrupted, but the Rajdhani Express was cleared after about half an hour. Rescue teams arrived to restore the derailed engine and bogies. The derailment resulted in the cancellation of two passenger trains and the diversion of two others. A preliminary investigation suggests the accident was caused by the driver's negligence.

wali Rajdhani Express waha se pass hone wali thi, aur yeh accident se bach gayi. Samastipur se Rosra jaane wali maalgaadi, jo fertilizer leke jaa rahi thi, Bhagwanpur Desua station pe platform 1 pe rukne wali thi, but woh aage badhti gayi, ek barrier ko todte hue aur derail ho gayi. Train driver, Rajdhani Express ke aane ke baad platform 1 pe rukne ka signal milne ke baad bhi, aage badhta raha, jiske karan yeh accident hua. Rail line pe operations band ho gaye, but Rajdhani Express ko aadha ghanta baad clear kar diya gaya. Rescue teams waha pahunche aur derail hue engine and bogies ko restore karne mein lag gaye. Derailment se do passenger trains cancel karni padi aur do aur trains ko divert kar diya gaya. Preliminary investigation se pata chala ki yeh accident driver ki laaparwahi se hua hai.
