जानकारी के अनुसार 12957/58 स्वर्णजयंती राजधानी एक्सप्रेस का विस्तार मुंबई सेंट्रल तक जल्द होने की संभावना है साथ ही उक्त गाड़ी का ठहराव उत्तरपश्चिम रेलवे में अलवर व किशनगढ़ होने जा रहा है | विस्तार की सूचना एवं ठहराव की सूचना प्राप्त होने के साथ तत्काल दी जाएगी |

जोधपुर-आगरा वन्देभारत अभी चलने की चर्चाएँ जोरों पर है जिसके जयपुर-दौसा-अलवर-मथुरा होकर चलने पर जयपुर-भरतपुर/सवाईमाधोपुर-आगरा रूटों के मुकाबले अधिक यात्री भार मिलने की पूरी सम्भावना है क्यूंकि अलवर व मथुरा दोनों भरतपुर एवं सवाई माधोपुर से आबादी में बड़े हैं साथ ही पर्यटन की दृष्टि से समृद्ध , गोवर्धन जी जैसे बड़े तीर्थ स्थल अलवर-मथुरा रूट पर हैं .अतः जोधपुर-आगरा कैंट वन्देभारत का सप्ताह में 3 दिन प्रस्तावित सञ्चालन जयपुर-अलवर-गोवर्धन-मथुरा होकर होना चाहिए वहीँ गाडी संख्या 20981 -82 उदयपुर-जयपुर वन्देभारत को भी अलवर-मथुरा होकर आगरा कैंट बढाया जाना चाहिए . हाल ही इसके फेरे घटाकर सप्ताह में तीन दिन कोटा के रास्ते चलाया गया है. जयपुर-भरतपुर होकर चलाई गई 12035-36 जयपुर-आगरा फोर्ट शताब्दी कम यात्री भार के चलते स्थाई बंद हो गई है
