Due to development work in the Adra Division of the South Eastern Railway, the Tatanagar-Hatia Express will run on a modified route on August 26, 28, 30, and 31. The Kharagpur-Hatia Express will be cancelled on August 29.

the South Eastern Railway Kolkata Zonal Railway Users' Consultative Committee has recommended a fast MEMU train service from Ranchi to Garhwa Road Junction. This recommendation has been forwarded to the headquarters through the Time Table Committee. The committee also proposed extending the Hatia-Sanki Passenger train to Hazaribagh Town, and the South Eastern Railway's Deputy Chief Operations Manager responded regarding a stopover for the Tatanagar-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express at Ayodhya Dham station.
