The doubling of the railway line between Pipraha and Mahwal will increase the speed of trains on the Narkatiaganj rail section, eliminating the need for passengers to stop at crossings during their journey. This will enable faster travel times. Following the commencement of operations on the new railway line, long-distance trains will also start running on this section. This rail section will benefit not only Muzaffarpur, but also the Mithilanchal region.

The 15215-16 Intercity Express, which ran between Muzaffarpur and Chanpatia on Tuesday, will also be cancelled on Wednesday. Nine pairs of passenger trains will operate with short-term terminations and origins. The CRS will inspect the doubling fitness on February 22 and 24.
