Railways suspended train operations due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Passenger trains had their fares increased two to three times on different routes. However, the old rates have now been reinstated. The railway has removed the lock in the software that was keeping the fares at the inflated prices. For example, the fare from Jhajjar to Rohtak was ₹30, but now it's back to ₹10. Similarly, the fare from Jhajjar to Jind has dropped from ₹50 to ₹25, and the fare from Jhajjar to Rewari has been reduced from ₹30 to ₹10. The station master, Ramkishan Meena, confirmed that these fares are being charged based on the software update. During the pandemic, special trains were charged at a higher rate, but now the normal fares are back in effect.

The train leaves Delhi Sarai Rohilla and departs Bahadurgarh at 8:25 AM, and leaves Bahadurgarh for Sarai Rohilla from Rohtak at 7:30 PM. The Daily Passenger Association had requested a stop at two stations for this train, with a stop in Shakur Basti already granted. They had also requested a Bahadurgarh stop, which was previously denied. This decision comes after the train replaced the Firozpur Passenger, which was discontinued after the COVID-19 pandemic. Bahadurgarh commuters had demanded a stop at Bahadurgarh as the train had replaced the Firozpur Passenger. The Daily Passenger Association held two protests and submitted memorandums regarding this issue. They highlighted the need for the stop, as many passengers, including students going to colleges and universities in Rohtak, travel from Bahadurgarh in the morning. Unhone Bahadurgarh pe bhi stop ki demand ki thi, jisko pehle reject kar diya gaya tha. liya aur koi bhi nuksan nahi hua. Train 15 minutes ke liye ruk gayi aur phir Bathinda ki taraf chali gayi. Aag ka karan pata nahi chala, lekin yeh incident train crew ki tezi aur soch ki wajah se ek bada haadsa bach gaya.
