Festivals mein special trains chalta hai, lekin local residents chahte hain ki regular long-distance trains chalna chahiye. Unhone bahut baar authorities se request kiya hai, lekin unki sunwai nahi hui. Lekin recently, is region ke representatives ne railway minister se request kiya hai ki Gorakhpur-Siwan route via Deoria pe chalaane wali long-distance express trains mein se kam se kam ek train ka route Kaptanganj-Thawe tak badha diya jaaye.
