Motihari station, the 15653 Amarnath Express at Chakia station, and the 05258 Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur MEMU train at Semra station. The Senior Section Engineer from Bapudham Motihari, Deepak Paswan, reached the site and removed the branch. A tower wagon was brought from Kanthi station to reconnect the OHE wire. The down line operations were briefly disrupted. The down line was declared fit for operation at 9:10 am, while the up line was declared fit at 12:28 pm after repairs. Train operations resumed on both lines.

A female student traveling from Motihari to Chakia on a train was harassed by five men. When she tried to escape at Jiwa Dhura station, they caught her and beat her up. Villagers tried to catch the perpetrators but only one was apprehended, who was identified as Ashish Kumar from Chakia....

Modi will also lay the foundation stone for projects like the six-lane cable bridge over the Ganga parallel to the Patna-Digha-Sonpur rail-cum-road bridge and the four-laning of the Bakarpur Hat-Manikpur section of NH-19 bypass. In total, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs. 12,800 crore.
