The previous day, a coal-laden goods train split into two sections at Pahaड़pur station on the Gaya-Koderma rail line. The goods train, designated TD, was traveling from Koderma to Gaya. At 8:55 AM, the train's coupling connecting the 16th and 17th bogies broke, causing the train to split. Goods train, TD naam se jani jati thi, Koderma se Gaya ki taraf ja rahi thi. Subah 8:55 AM par, train ki 16th aur 17th bogies ko jodne wali coupling tut gayi, jisse train do hisso mein ban gayi. Train ka front section aage badh gaya, aur rear section Pahaड़pur station par hi ruk gaya.

Various departments including telecom, OHE power, and platform suspension will have their own blocks during this period. On Thursday, the DRM and his team from Sonpur will inspect platforms 7 and 8. According to the railway notice, seven trains that usually depart from platforms 7 and 8 will be shifted to platforms 6 and 1. The Motihari to Patliputra Intercity Express, Raxaul-Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj MEMU, and Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur MEMU will depart from platform 1. Traffic block ke liye Wednesday ko RLD aur Sonpur Rail Division ke officials ne platform ka inspection kiya. Bataya gaya hai ki block ke time alag-alag dino mein telecom, OHE power, platform suspension jaise department bhi block honge. Railway officials ne bataya ki block ke liye Thursday ko Sonpur se DRM aur unki team junction ke platform 7 aur 8 ka inspection karegi. Railway ki taraf se jaari letter mein kaha gaya hai ki platform 7 aur 8 se chalne wali 7 trains ko platform 6 aur 1 se chalaya jaayega. Motihari se Patliputra jaane wali Intercity Express, Raxaul-Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj MEMU aur Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur MEMU platform 1 se chalengin. Platform 6 se 05595-96 Samastipur-Muzaffarpur DEMU, 05266 Patliputra-Darbhanga MEMU, 05265 Darbhanga-Patliputra MEMU aur 15216-05287 Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur-Raxaul Passenger chalengin.
