There is a growing demand for a new railway line between Tejnarayanpur and Bhaluka Road, the final station on the Katihar-Tejnarayanpur railway line in the Katihar railway division. This demand was raised by Vinay Kumar Singh, the central vice president of the Northeast Frontier Railway Employees Union and ZRUCC member, during...

a zonal-level meeting of the NFR. He has also written to the Prime Minister's Office about this matter. Tejnarayanpur station, approximately 34 kilometers from Katihar station, is the final station in the Katihar Railway Division and falls under the Amdabad block of the Manihar sub-division in Bihar. In 2008, a survey was conducted for this project during the UPA government, but the project was shelved after the survey was completed. The survey for the new rail line was completed in 2008, but work on the project has not progressed since then. The distance between Tejnarayanpur and Bhaluka Road is 30 kilometers. Bhaluka Road is located between Kumedpur and Malda on the Malda railway line, about 45 kilometers from Malda. If this railway project is approved, it will provide a new alternative route from Katihar via Tejnarayanpur-Bhaluka Road to Kolkata via Malda for the people of Katihar, Manihar, and Amdabad. This would significantly reduce travel time to Kolkata and Howrah and boost trade and cultural ties.

Katihar railway division mein Katihar-Tejnarayanpur railway line ka aakhri station Tejnarayanpur se Bhaluka Road tak ek nayi rail line banane ki demand uthi hai. Yeh demand Northeast Frontier Railway Employees Union ke central vice president aur ZRUCC member Vinay Kumar Singh ne NFR ki zonal-level meeting mein uthayi hai. Unhone yeh...

demand PM Office ko bhi likhkar bheji hai. Tejnarayanpur station, jo Katihar station se 34 kilometer door hai, Bihar mein Katihar Railway Division ka aakhri station hai. Yeh station Manihar sub-division ke Amdabad block mein aata hai. UPA government ke time mein yeh project survey ke baad shelved kar diya gaya tha. 4 January 2008 ko UPA government ke time mein W/348/COONS/TNRP/BKRD number ki report, jo Tejnarayanpur se Bhaluka Road project ke liye thi, release ki gayi thi. 4 November 2008 ko is new rail line ke liye survey bhi kiya gaya tha, aur yeh survey kuchh saal chala. Lekin kuchh dino baad yeh band ho gaya. Ab tak is project pe koi kaam start nahin hua. Tejnarayanpur station aur Bhaluka Road station ke beech ki distance 30 kilometer hai. Bhaluka Road station, Kumedpur aur Malda ke beech Malda railway line pe padta hai, aur yeh Malda se 45 kilometer door hai. Agar yeh project approve ho gaya, toh yeh Katihar se Tejnarayanpur-Bhaluka Road se Malda tak Kolkata ke liye ek nayi alternative route banayega, jisse Katihar, Manihar, aur Amdabad ke logon ko faida hoga. Isse Kolkata aur Howrah jaane mein logon ko kam time lagega, aur business aur culture ko bhi boost milega.
