campaign at the Patratu Railway Hospital and learned about the problems of the hospital. The Union leaders assured that they will meet the Divisional Railway Manager to resolve the problems. They highlighted that the Patratu Sub Divisional Hospital is currently operating only in one shift and there are several problems. The union leaders contacted Dr. Halder regarding the problems. Dr. Sanjeev Halder confirmed that the CMD has been informed about the shortcomings in the hospital. He added that the OPS is better than the NPS and the union has been fighting for a long time for the OPS. The government is providing pensions under the UPS which is better than the NPS. The leaders clarified that the door is still open and the union is fighting for it. They did not rule out the possibility of improvement. The meeting was attended by branch secretaries R.N. Choudhary, Ajit Kumar, Lalbabu Mahato, Prem Raj Patel, Suresh Prasad, Amit Singh, P.K. Verma, Hiralal Choudhary, Nandu Yadav and other railway employees.

The son said his father had left for Chandrapura to meet his daughter on Saturday and was mentally unstable. He believes his father may have boarded the wrong train and fell from it.
