This washing pit is nearing completion, with 60% of the construction already finished. Is shed mein ek washing pit bhi banayi ja rahi hai, jisme high-pressure water pumps aur automatic brush machines honge, yeh train ko saaf karne mein pani ki bachat karega. Yah washing pit ka kaam almost 60% complete ho chuka hai. Is washing pit se, 24 coach wali ek train ko 15 se 20 minute mein saaf kiya ja sakega. Yeh manually saaf karne ki tulna mein kaafi kam pani use karega.

The South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to run a special train, the Hubballi Rishikesh Special (07363/64), on a Train On Demand (TOD) basis. This is to manage the expected increase in passengers during the upcoming festival season.
