Digha Railway Station (DGHA) is located in Digha, West Bengal, on the Chandaneswar Road (National Highway 116B). It is a small station with 3 platforms. modern Vande Bharat train for more passengers. Currently, a Vande Bharat train runs from Ranchi to Howrah via Tatanagar, but most seats are booked from Tatanagar onwards. The new plan includes routes from Ranchi, Bokaro, Tori, Rourkela, Asansol, and Kharagpur to Digha, Balasore, and other destinations. The proposal for a Vande Bharat train from Tatanagar to Patna and Varanasi via Gaya is already in place. The introduction of these trains is expected to boost tourism in Jharkhand, Bengal, and Odisha. The railway is also monitoring ticket bookings and passenger numbers on routes that might be affected by the new Vande Bharat trains.
