कोटा जयपुर पहले फास्ट पैसेंजर थी । अब एक्सप्रेस हो गई । ज्यादा खास फर्क नहीं पड़ा । बस अब यह हो गया कि कोटा से रतलाम के बीच के स्टेशन वालो को 2 टिकट बनाने पड़ते है । कोच बदलना पड़ता है कोटा में । नहीं तो ट्रेन में ही टीटी से सीट लो, डिफरेंस बनवा कर या रिश्वत देकर ।

जोधपुर भोपाल भी पैसेंजर थी, IR ने जनता को लूटने के लिए इन ट्रेनों को अपग्रेड कर दिया और सुविधा के नाम पर कुछ नही दी

Bhaiyya, blame it on all of the 7 Pay Commissions and Lalu & Mamata didi. Railways now can't increase fares (there is a way IR did not explore -- incremental increasing STs starting with 5 per month). Now, this could actually happen starting with next budget. Otherwise, IR could go the BSNL (once a Navratna, now not earning enough to pay salaries) way. Poor people graduated from paying 2 for tempo to 10 per ride, but train fares didn't change accordingly. Today, bus rides can't compete with IR. Govt or private.

सही तो नहीं लगता । पर इससे पश्चिम मध्य रेलवे ने अपने पैर पर कुल्हाड़ी मारी है क्योंकि जो भी पहले इसको प्रिफर करता था जयपुर से आने में अब मजबूरी में ही करता है । पर इसमें कोटा ने दिमाग लगाया है । अब सारे पैसेंजर जिनको आगे जाना है वो 2 टिकट रखेंगे । और कोटा स्टेशन पर पैसेंजर फुट फॉल 2 बार काउंट हो जाएगा ।
