04312, will depart from Haridwar at 12:30 PM every Thursday from October 10th to November 14th, reaching Dhanbad at 12:20 PM and Howrah at 5:10 PM the following day. The train will consist of 15 AC Economy class coaches. While the Howrah-Haridwar special train has limited berths available for booking from Dhanbad (only 18), passengers can book tickets from Asansol and board at Dhanbad, paying an extra 35 rupees per passenger. Another special train, the Lucknow-Tatanagar special (04224) will operate on October 16th, 2023. This train departs from Lucknow at 3:10 PM and reaches Tatanagar at 8:50 AM. However, all seats for this train have been booked. Another Lucknow-Tatanagar special train (04224) is also scheduled on October 21st, 2023, with seats still available. Return trains from Tatanagar to Lucknow will operate on October 17th and 21st, with separate train numbers.

Train mein 15 AC Economy class bogiyan hain. Howrah-Haridwar special train mein Dhanbad se limited berths book karne ke liye available hain (bas 18), passengers Asansol se ticket book karke Dhanbad se board kar sakte hain, aur har passenger ke liye 35 rupees extra pay karna hoga. The project will connect Gorakhpur-Panyahwa-Chitauni and Tamkuhi Road, benefiting the residents of Kushinagar, including Khadda, Padrauna and Tamkuhiraj tehsils, as well as the neighboring districts of West Champaran and Gopalganj in Bihar. This region currently has limited transportation options, forcing people to travel to Padrauna or Bagaha for train services. Due to the prolonged stoppage of the project, a new survey will be conducted. Additionally, 200 crores have been allocated for the Sahjanwa-Dohrighat line (81.17 km) and 450 crores for the Anand Nagar-Ghugli via Maharajganj line (50 km). These lines will create an alternative route for Gorakhpur station, allowing trains bound for Bihar to utilize the Bhani-Anand Nagar route. A further 450 crore rupees have been allotted for the Bahraich-Khalilabad via Bhinga-Shravasti-Balrampur-Utraula-Dumriaganj-Mehdawal-Bansi line (240.26 km), which will connect Nepal border areas directly to Gorakhpur.

The return trip, 04225, departs Tatanagar on October 21st at 11 AM and reaches Lucknow at 4:55 AM the next day. Both trains will have stoppages at Rae Bareli, Amethi, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Station, Sasaram, Gaya, and NSCB Gomoh. The Chhotanagpur Passengers Association welcomed the decision as the direct train will help manage the expected passenger rush during the festival season.
