Six senior loco pilots from Tatanagar have been trained to operate the Vande Bharat train on the Patna route via Muri, Gomoh, Gaya, Jehanabad, and the Brahmapur route via Chaibasa and Dangoaposi. The expected launch date for both routes was 25th August, but it has been delayed due to missing signal equipment. The Vande Bharat train operating between Ranchi and Howrah is running six days a week, while the residents of Bihar await the Patna Vande Bharat train. The timetable for the Tatanagar-Patna and Tatanagar-Brahmapur Vande Bharat Express is as follows: * Tatanagar departs at 5:00 am and reaches Patna at 12:35 pm. * Patna departs at 1:30 pm and reaches Tatanagar at 9:25 pm. * For Brahmapur, the train departs at 5:20 am and returns to Tatanagar at 11:55 pm.

A passenger train had passed the location just 15 minutes before the incident, and another was about to arrive at the halt when the wire snapped. The situation could have been much worse if the train had been at the halt or passengers on the platform, potentially causing severe injuries. A team of railway engineers from Jehanabad reached the site with a tower wagon and restored the line after about three hours. The disruption caused delays for several trains, including express trains and passenger trains, which remained stuck between Patna, Jehanabad, and Niazipur Halt.
