The affected trains included the Satyagraha Express, Lucknow Chandigarh Najibabad, Muazzampur Narayan, Danapur Anand Vihar Express, Bhagat Ki Kothi Express, Rajdhani Express, Kathgodam Shatabdi, Purnagiri Jan Shatabdi, and Aligarh Gajaraula Passenger. The cancelled trains were Gajaraula Najibabad Passenger, Inter City Up and Down, Moradabad Ghaziabad MEMU Express Special, and Najibabad-Moradabad Passenger. A committee has been formed to investigate the cause of the derailment, and repairs to the damaged track are underway. The incident involved 12 containers of a freight train derailing in Amroha yard at 5:15 PM on Saturday.
